Summer in the enns valley

There is nothing better than summer in the mountains.  In the midst of nature, in our woods, mountains and lakes, you can breathe in quality fresh air.  Here you will find all you need – either, to relax, unwind and enjoy, or for the more adventurous, take part in many activities on offer.

Hiking and walking in the Schladming-Dachstein Region

In summer, our house is an ideal starting point for many lovely walks in the mountains and alms of our region.  We have routes for family walking as well as more experienced or energetic walkers, and climbers.

Rafting, Abenteuerpark

The local Best Adventure Company offer -  rafting, canyoning, rope climbing towers and more

For those of you looking for adventure and activity. You can find the Best Aventure Company in the next village, Pruggern.  The rope climbing tower in Gröbming is, due to its unique location at the foot of the Stoderzinken, one of the nicest and most amazing in Austria.

We are a partner company with the flight school Sky Club Austria which you can reach by foot in just 5 minutes from our guest house.

Archery – Energy and Concentration in harmony with nature

Archery has a long tradition here in Ennstal.  It is a good family sport, as children from about 5 years of age, as well as adults and the young at heart, can take part.  This is a sport which combines concentration and good co-ordination, on all levels, thus bringing mind, body and soul in balance and allowing you to leave every day things behind you for a while...

Alternatives when the weather isn’t so good

Even if the weather isn’t as you would wish it to be, it doesn’t mean your holiday can’t be just as good.    We have thermal baths, indoor swimming pools and various indoor sport possibilities – bowling, climbing, tennis or squash in our area, which invite you to be active.

We also have something to offer for those you who like a little culture.  The museum in Schloss Trautenfels, Schloss Großsölk, the Winter Sport Museum in Haus/Ennstal, the Nickel Museum in Rohrmoos or the Heimatmuseum in Gröbming.  There is much to learn.
